I trained for 4 months with Howard. I’ve also known him since I was 14 years old. I vividly remember the 2004 Regional 5A track meet at Texas Tech when I was thrown into the 3rd leg of the 4x400 which was not my race. I lost our lead and was ate up by 2 girls in the first 150 meters. I ran the best race I could as a lil ol' freshman who only ran the 4x100 & 4x200.
When I finished my leg, I was hyperventilating and nearly in tears. I wasn’t used to being beaten like that. But, there was Howard CONGRATULATING me on my personal best 0:59 split. We dropped from second place to fourth place. but he was congratulating me - not for competing with the other track stars, but with myself and giving my all. He probably doesn’t remember, but I’ll never forget that.
Thank you for that day, Howard. Thank you for pushing me and helping me crush my goals 16 years later. Thank you for being a great trainer, and thank you for not only caring about my physical health, but my mental health as well.

I never understood a "love/hate relationship".... until I started training with Howard. I leave every session with HATE IN MY HEART for what I just went through, physically and emotionally! But, when I'm hoopin' with my 12 yr old son (who Howard also trains), I love the way I can physically keep up with him game after game!
Howard's training style is perfect. He's hard on you, but at the same time understanding of your limits, and will modify your workouts to improve them.

Coach Howard is awesome! He’s been training my 11 yr old son in speed and agility. My son is an athlete and like all athletes he needs to train. Well.... I’ve found the trainer for him. Coach Howard is great with kids, explains things in terms they can understand and he’s very motivating. His workouts aren’t easy and he will push them but the way he does it is motivating and encouraging. He incorporates life lessons into his workouts and in a way that kids can relate.

He educates you about your body and how to make the improvements you want, and sets a great flow for the workout. There are no dead zones. I’m 55 yrs old. I need to lose about 25-30lbs (not Howard’s fault), but as I get older my workout goals are changing. Recently we added a class with just stretching and flexibility training. Then, I wanted to try agility training realizing it would be beneficial. We always have great workouts, but I enjoy mixing it up at the gym. Howard is making that possible.
